Decisions to close the Station or change hours of operation will be based on a joint assessment of current and predicted weather conditions by the Director and B&P staff and management. On bad weather days, you’ll find information on any NYSAES closure or changes in operations in the following places:
- Through messages sent to you via the Blackboard Connect emergency notification system
- The NYSAES information line, 315-787-2011.
- The NYSAES website homepage, www.nysaes.cornell.edu.
Any decision to close or change business hours will be shared with those riding the Ithaca-Geneva shuttle as early in the day as possible.
We highly recommend that you register your contact information in the NYSAES Blackboard Connect emergency notification system, especially because NYSAES closing information due to inclement weather will no longer be provided to media outlets around the region.
